JBL's GX528AM 5-1/4" coaxial speakers flaunt a contemporary look that's backed by a legendary commitment to excellent sound. The speaker's patented Plus One™ structure extends the surface area of the polypropylene woofer cone to give you a better low-frequency experience. And an edge-driven tweeter expands the high-frequency range, so you'll hear musical details that you never heard from your old speakers.

The GX528AM's low-impedance design safely draws more power from your car stereo or amp to give your music extra punch. JBL has also included a tweeter deflector to compensate for the diversity of car interiors. With high-frequency soundwaves guided more directly toward your ears, your music gains a truer, more dynamic sound.

These 2.3-ohm speakers are sensitive enough that you can power them with a factory or aftermarket radio, but you'll get even better results feeding them power from an outboard amp.
